Our 9 borehole wells provide clean water to 18,000 people in the village of Mararaba Udege, Nigeria, where children used to spend up to 30 hours each week carrying water from a distant contaminated stream. Each well is dug by a local team and overseen by a committee of community members that ensures repairs and routine maintenance.
